Somatic therapy is clinically focused and designed for trauma resolution and psychological healing. A somatic therapist is trained to work with deeper emotional wounds, past trauma, and mental health challenges in a therapeutic setting.
At sine, I offer somatic coaching which is trauma-informed, which is about helping you develop a deeper connection to your body’s intelligence, navigate emotions with awareness, and cultivate resilience for the present and future. If you are processing deep trauma or mental health challenges, I recommend working with a licensed somatic therapist.

No, somatic coaching is not trauma therapy. While somatic coaching acknowledges how experiences are stored in the body, it does not replace psychotherapy or trauma-specific treatment. Coaching helps you build awareness and resilience in the present, but it does not involve trauma processing or clinical interventions. If trauma healing is your primary goal, working with a licensed somatic therapist or mental health professional would be more appropriate.

Yes, confidentiality is a core part of my coaching practice. I always have a confidentiality agreement in place with every client. What you share in our sessions remains private, ensuring you have a safe and supportive space to explore your body’s wisdom and emotional landscape. The only exception would be if there were an immediate safety concern, in which case I would discuss next steps with you.
